no, it’s not a drastic change, in fact, i didn’t even realize i had made some sort of progress until i looked at the before and after photo. i’ve never ever in my life ever put so much effort in something. i’ve always started this “fitness journey” but stopped after a few days before i got discouraged. i’m so happy i came into this fitblr community because it has changed my life since. i’m starting to love my body and the potential it has to become it’s best. i may not have super silm or super toned legs, i may not have abs or that defined ab line or great obliques, but i will get there. now i’ve realized that it will take me a long time but i’m determined to get there. i love being able to stand in front of the mirror in the morning in my underwear and be able to start to like what i see. people discouraged me, my parents even told me i couldn’t do it that i’d be “fat” forever with a big fat ass. they might not see the change, but i do. i’m more confident now. and anyone can do it. you may not see progress immediately, but it will all be worth it at the end <3
Ive been fat my entire life until one day I got sick and tired of being sick and feeling ashamed of myself. I was depressed and just kept digging the whole deeper. I bought TurboFire on an impulse infomercial buy…and I dropped 60lbs. I am currently doing Insanity and drinking Shakeology and it is truly changing my body, my health and my mood! My diet is pretty clean, eating almost nothing processed (Hey! I’m human, sometimes I want icecream — which don’t beat yourself up over it). My journey thus far has inspired friends and strangers to become healthy, even thin women! That is my goal to inspire women and men to take control of their lives which is why I became a BeachBody coach recently! I’m here to offer any advice I have learned thus far to anyone who needs it. Or if you just need someone to listen, I’m also here. Its a tough road but we can all do this! Don’t let fear take over your life! I still have a long journey ahead of me but I’m not stopping and neither should you! YOU GOT THIS!

Hi!! I submitted a ‘before and after’ in the past that had a lot of flustered people denying it was real because my second photo was in a mirror so my tattoo was on the other side (boo). I just decided to put this one together tonight to share on a myfitnesspal.com thread and would love to share it here too under my new fitness blog :) Please feel free to follow, I post mostly about my bike rides I do in San Diego. Much love to all!!
I’ve been doing the Bikini Burn for about 20 days now, I’ve missed a few days here and there, life gets in the way, but this is my progress thus far. Still have a long way to go but I have to thank you guys for helping me make it this far!
Hey this is my journey and how I have gotten to where i am today, I no where near where i want to be but I am getting there and that is the main thing, I went into this knowing it would be a long road and so far I am so happy with what I have achieved.
I started by just exercising and that didn’t do much for me at all Before picture was taken the day I started to eat clean and exercise that was the 8th of feb and now on the 2nd of may this is what I look like. I started at 170 lbs and I am now in the 140’s I don’t weigh my self often any more I am more concerned with how my body feels than what a number can tell me <3
I am 5ft 5inches and my goal is to be fit and healthy :)
I’ve finally reached my initial goal weight of 130 pounds! I still have some belly fat I want to get rid of but after that, all of my focus will be on toning and building muscle. I haven’t done anything outrageous or special. Just make healthier choices and ensure that gym time is a priority and you will see results! One thing I’ve learned over the past few years is that weight loss is all in your head. If you decide it’s something you really want, it automatically becomes something you CAN and WILL achieve.
I lost over 60 pounds between 2009 and 2012 and am still working on getting to my healthiest me. I have a wordpress blog and I love reading and writing about healthy eating and fitness my tumblr is: http://www.chels-kiwipink.tumblr.com
This transformation was in 30 days.

feel free to ask me any questions! :)
I was 350lbs, sick, and depressed. I had a doctors visit in 2010 and I hit the scale at 350lbs! It hit me HARD when I read that. My blood pressure was at a skyrocketing 150/90. My doctor said it was a dangerous level and started me on Hypertension Meds. When I got home from the doctors office, I went into my room, laid down on my bed and sobbed. I didnt want to be like this anymore. Also, having a chronic illness such as IBS (what I had) wasnt fun being obese. So I finally did something.
My friend Don, who is like a hero to me for helping, coached me through healthy eating and exercise. I started walking, hitting the gym 3 times a week doing cardio, and of course eating super clean. In a period of 8 months I lost 40lbs! Going from 350lbs, to 310lbs! But then I hit my first plateau. So my friend Don said I needed to push harder to confuse my body. I ordered P90X, and did 2 and 1/2 rounds which equals up to 225 days. I lost another 40lbs with that making it down to 270lbs! Bringing my weight loss to 80lbs! After P90X, I bought Insanity, and now have lost 2lbs with my first round! Its still weight loss to me :) I now weigh 268lbs, and I am currently on a P90X and Insanity hybrid program to hopefully shock my body to lose more weight.
I am not done yet, by a LONG SHOT. I still have quite a ways to go. I just wanted to let people know that it is possible! Being as big as I was, and also having a chronic HIDDEN illness such as IBS, you can overcome anything!
