1)  Stupid Cardio-Are you still hanging all over the Stairmaster with your arms “rolled in” for 45? 60? minutes or more?  Even Shape magazine doesn’t still promote that kind of cardio. In case you haven’t noticed “we” don’t do cardio like that anymore. It’s a waste of time and may even be detrimental to your   fitness efforts (it raises stress hormones and breaks down muscle.) Moderate intensity, long-duration cardio is a thing of the past.  Frequent, short bursts of very high intensity cardio done either as a rest-based workout or, integrated with your resistance workout is the only way to go.  It builds muscle, boosts immune function, and burns more calories at rest.

Getting in shape is a very simple thing. You make a plan and then you stick to it until you see results. The problem is knowing what you exactly you should be doing. There are a million plans online, workout videos, and just about anybody is willing to tell you what you should do even if they don’t know what they’re doing. But I’m here to make it simple for you. 

I’ve made it my life’s goal to learn as much as I can about fitness as possible. I’ve gone to college and gotten a degree in Kinesiology, Been certified as a personal trainer by one of the best fitness organizations out there. I’ve sat through seminars, read articles in journals, and learned from the best. The fact is that you have other things you need to worry about school, work, and family. You don’t have the time to spend years studying fitness just to learn how to get in shape. Nor should you have to do any of that. 

I’m here to take care of all of that for you. I’ll tell you what exercises you should be doing, How many reps, sets, and what weight. I’ll tell you what days to workout and for how long. I’ll lay everything out for you in an easy to understand way. In a program that is not made for somebody else, but made only for you. A complete program tailored to your goals. No more guess work, and no more hesitation. All you have to do is commit, follow the plan, and see the results. 

The best part is unlike in person personal training. Tumblr Gym Personal Training is private and affordable. A personal trainer in a gym can cost you anywhere from $40-60 a session. Hey guys there is a new fitness program that I need to share with you. I remember a couple of years ago when I was getting ready for prom I wanted everything to be perfect. It was something I was really looking forward to. But I always felt super self conscious trying on dresses because of my weight. It was prom that first got me into fitness because I wanted to look good for prom.

A couple of days ago I came across this program and decided to look into it and see if it was worth recommending it to any of my high school age followers. It turned out to be pretty freaking amazing. The program is called PromFit and its an online fitness program which provides you with workouts customized to your body type. Nutrition planning to help you know what to eat. As well as fashion counseling to help you pick out a perfect prom dress to flatter your body type. I was really impressed with all of the materials that the program provided. They give you like three awesome EBook guides to help you prepare and lose weight for prom. Everything is tailored to exactly that high school girls need to lose weight and get healthy. Also everything about it is based on sound healthy principles. There are no unhealthy diets or tricks that don’t work. It’s just the perfect plan to tell you exactly what you need to do to get in shape.

But I haven’t told you the very best part of the program. You get free access to a certified personal trainer through out the program. If you ever have any questions you can always ask for help. The program itself is awesome but the access to a personal trainer is why I recommend this program over any other program for getting fit in high school and specifically for prom. I wish I had known about something like this when I went to prom. 

They have 2 differen’t programs right now for different goals and amounts of time you have to get in shape. They have a 6 week program for those who are looking to lose around 10 pounds before prom and their 10 day accelerator program which can help you lose that pound or two that will really help give you the perfect prom. The cool thing is that it’s not just about prom. Prom is just a motivator to get healthy and then keep being healthy. If you are ready get serious and get healthy for life.
